Hello All,
Earlier tonight I noticed some heavy packet loss upstream to my Gateway, starting around 3:30 PM CST until 6:15 PM CST averaging around 20-25% packet loss. Both my Docsis 3.0 modem and eMTA modem stayed synced to the headend. When I called tech support they had a recorded message that the techs were aware and they were working on the solution. Everything seemed to be working after 6:15 PM CST until 10:45 PM CST, then the same issue started up. I do also have a relative living in my same neighborhood and their modem showed the same issue. I will attach a screenshot showing the packet loss to the mediacom gateway and the latency rise and I do have similar logs for my relatives residence also.
The second time I called and talked to tech support and they advised to send a technician out, I advised her that I thought that would be a waste of a service call. She informed me that only a technician had the ability to put in a service request to the line technicians.
Curious if anyone else in the greater Cedar Rapids community experienced this issue.
