Well it was a good few months since the last extended ordeal to get our service fixed here, having to have Bainch step in (thankfully) after months of local techs and official forum employees stringing us along without any resolution.
The same signal scenario as before has returned.
Each day about the same time we lose upstream bonding and the single remaining channel goes to 56-57 power. The 8 downstreams drop 2-3 on power.
I can sit here and watch the power go up/down across both us and ds channels. Here was a few minutes ago:

Yesterday it did this for about an hour, with us power bouncing between 42 and 57. As was the exact same case last time this happened, once the power stays in the mid 40's I can reboot and get back to 3 us channels at 42-46 and the ds stick at 0-2 with 42-43 SNR's across.
This is exactly what happened last year and turned into two months of daily loss of service. Bainch stepped in and they replaced software and some glass at the node (after local mgmt claimed repeatedly there was no issue with the node at all).
I am really hoping we can avoid the numerous tech visits that led nowhere and the months of delay to get this fixed this time around.

Today however we are not dropping back down and are stuck at one of the three us channels available.
Yesterday this dropped the connection fully when it happened. This is the same as last year as well, it eventual gets so bad and frequent it drops everything out for several hours. Hopefully we can get it fixed this time before that happens. I saw a mediacom van tooling around the area yesterday and hoped it was just them working on the area but now that I see the same thing at same time its pointing back to last years problem resurfacing.
