Just had tech hook up 1gig service on 12/30 with an Arris 8200 I purchased and everything was great until I got home from work and no connection - only a green flashing downstream icon. Customer service said he couldn't see modem online but tried a few things that didn't work and then informed me the earliest tech appointment was for 1/14!! Outrageous to have to wait so long for a service that was just installed 3 days ago and was working fine.
