I know Mediacom is (trying to anyway) stabilize the speeds at night when all people are on it but what i'm wondering is why is there so much variance in the 105Mb service when I didn't have a problem before with the 50Mb? (Before someone asks i'm working with MediacomChad to get things back in order) Seems like they need more bandwidth backhaul for tiers greater then 50Mb. When I run a speedtest the line for the download from the Comcast Chicago server on 50Mb hardly varies but with the 105Mb it reminds me of a Windstream DSL connection (ie varies from 60Mb to 118Mb depending on time of day. Will things be fixed soon or hopefully will one DOCSIS 3.1 launches. Also, As the case with the 50Mb a few years ago I can't seem to find a site that makes use of a download faster then about 7-9 MB anyway so i'm downgrading to save money
