Hello, I was hoping to work here since mediacom no longer has a good forum setup to ask for help. Maybe I can get MediacomChad to help me out. I have the 1g service with mediacom and am having very poor download speeds. Not able to get more then 50 mbps down but am getting 70 mbps up. I have a Arris SB8200 which is not showing that it has any DOCSIS 3.1 currently. I can tell this because the downstream light will change from green to blue on the front of the modem. I have had this service for more then a year and always had good speeds very close to 1g. I do not have any splutters on the line since I only have internet. I do have a attenuator -9 on the line or the downstream power level hits 15db no problems. I talked to phone support who was no help at all. they made an appointment which is more then a week out. I am hopping this is a issue that is not on my end and can be fixed somewhere else. I have attached a picture of my modem's status page to show what my modem is telling me I have currently.
