So I've called Mediacom support twice and spent an hour on the phone with Microsoft. Mediacom seems confused about what the issue is and Microsoft insists that it's a network issue. My problem is that my NAT switches from open to moderate every 15-30 minutes. Given that I am forced to use Mediacom's Homewifi program to work on my router, I'm kinda stuck. My Xbox keeps telling me that my UPnP has failed. Everything I read keeps telling me to update my UPnP or Port Forward. Since the program doesn't support UPnP, I'm forced to Port Forward and try to set a static IP for my Xbox (also unsupported). However, the instructions are so confusing that I can't seem to figure it out.
TL;dr: How do I set a Static IP on my Xbox One and Port Forward, using the Home WiFi Mediacom system, so I stop having NAT issues and failed UPnP notifications?
