I have to give HUGE kudos to MediacomChad for all the help I've been given in the last few months. I had a hard to diagnose/pinpoint issue where my internet went down any time it rained. Having two teenage kids heavily dependent on the internet for their entertainment, you know what hell my life was when it was down. By the time the local truck went out, it had dried up and the problem went away. I work on networks and digital x-ray imaging for dental offices, and I know first hand how hard it is to fix something when the symptoms go away on their own.
Chad went to bat for me several times working with the dispatchers, techs, and local managers to get the problem taken care of. I'd send him a trouble IM and immediately would have a truck scheduled to my house first opening they had. He would follow up with me after they left to see if the problem was fixed, and if it wasn't he was communicating with the local office to get someone working on it. If Mediacom would clone him, they would have the best customer service out of any ISP. I've seen him help many many others in this forum, and we have it so much easier than people not using DSLReports. I'm overly confident in that.
This is one of those times when I wish I could reach out through my monitor and buy him several rounds of beverages, but since I can't the least I can do is come here and say thank you. MediacomChad, thank you very very much for all that you have done for me and my family. You have definitely made a Mediacom customer for life out of me, and I have recommended Mediacom to several business clients this week to get them away from other ISPs.
