For the last 2 weeks straight I've been unable to access www.vudu.com from my PC, and all of my smart devices have been unable to access the Vudu service from the Vudu app.
The error I'm getting in the Edge browser(as well as Firefox) relates to a DNS lookup issue("The DNS name does not exist."). I fixed the PC's issue by changing the DNS servers from MediaCom's DNS servers(assigned by DHCP) to Google's public DNS servers. Using Google's DNS servers, www.vudu.com comes up just fine and I can access my content. Using Mediacom's DNS servers, I get the DNS error.
Unfortunately I cannot change the DNS server info on my smart devices, so I still can't access Vudu from any of them. I was told by MediaCom support to call Vudu, however by all accounts they are not the problem - their website is up and working fine, I just can't access it using MediaCom's DNS servers. That leads me to believe the Vudu app is having difficulty connecting because of something going on at MediaCom.
I should mention: Amazon Prime, YouTube, and every other video streaming app works with no issues. Only the Vudu app has problems.
I've unplugged/re-plugged the router, and the MediaCom support person I had on the phone reset the router, and the same problems persist.
Any help is appreciated.
My PC is running Windows 10. I don't use any special anti-virus software, just Windows Defender.
