For a while, I used to do competitive gaming. It was a clear waste of time, but I was unsure of my career path. In the past, I would frequently work on computers and electronics, but I still wasn't sure what I wanted to do. Well, during my gaming adventure, I ran into severe networking latency with my ISP named Mediacom. I didn't know too much about networking other than basic knowledge and repeatedly interacted with technicians who did not know what they were talking about. Further down, I began to get better at my gaming hobby but ended it and pursued my education. During my education, I gained a significant amount of knowledge about networking including Cloud Technologies, Fundamentals of Networking, Network Design Associate, Windows Server Configuration, Global Network Architecture and Design, and Windows Server Configuration. All of these were gained through upper-level classes in college. What motivated me down this career path was Mediacom's failure to provide knowledgable support for networking. It's funny, I knew more than the techs from the start, yet they always acted like they knew it all. I honestly do not understand how they got hired in the first place.
