So,
As we all know, 1Gbps is ~ 940 or so (880 at night it seems) What do I/Mediacom need to do to prepare for the next wave of broadband speed increases?
Mediacom is doing a lot to kick 3.0 modems only off the network so I have a feeling next year this are about to get crazy stupid fast
I currently have an MB 8600 modem so I can in theory have port bonding. However, I don't think IPFire can do port bonding yet. Anyone know if PFSense can? My PC is ready for it as it has 2 2.5Gb Intel NIC's but I also need a switch as well I was thinking something like this https://www.newegg.com/netgear-xs505m-100nas-4-x-10-gig-multi-gig-copper-ports-1-x-sfp-ports/p/N82E16833122953 I also have Cat8 cable
Thoughts?
