Mediacom Service plagued with issues since installed late last week

I'm at my wits end. Here is my story: Late last week I had Mediacom internet service installed for the first time at my location. I used to have it at a former home but when I moved to my current house they were not available on my street so I went with Centurylink. Late last week I had Mediacom internet installed. I had a Samsung Modem/Router and 4 Range Extenders (Hitron). Mediacom brought there wire into my house from the underground connection in front of my house and into a DMARC location in my basement where a block of Cox cables were available. (these were formerly Directv but now I have Wireless Directv service in my home so the Coax outlets in various rooms were no longer used. First stop into the house was the Modem in my kitchen and a splitter to take it on to the block in the basement. I have a MOCA signal which connect 4 Extenders at other locations. After installation everything seemed to be going fine for about the first 4 days. (I had 1G service and the initial problem was that I felt I was not getting the kind of speed that would warrant paying for it.) then about 5-6 days in all kind of things started happening. Earth speeds on both the 2.4 and 5G signal. The the 5G radio started kicking all my Macs and iPhones off and saying I had the wrong password entered. This happened repeatedly to the point where I was kicked off the 5G radio more than I was on. In addition I started getting kicked off the 2.4 signal for the same reasons. I visited many times with MediacomChad and he helped me with several suggestions. Finally 2 days ago I called tech support and they agreed to send me a replacement Modem/Router. A Technicolor arrived to day and I got it activated and it seemed to put me back on track. But, after about an hour the same weird things started happening again only with this new Modem/Router. I also caught one of my Extenders with the WPS light blinking Green and Red and one of them is showing up on my WIFI Spectrum analyzer as unsecured. I can actually sing into it without a password but it does not seem to actually connect me to the internet but I am concerned that it may be offering a way for at the least a neighbor to enter into my network unsecured. Anyone got any ideas???? Im exhausted from trying to figure this one out. I scheduled a tech to come next Thursday to check things out but I really dont want to wait that long if I dont have to.
