If I power cycle, I can get gigabit speeds for about a minute, then I see this in the event logs:
2021-01-02, 23:51:48 Notice (6) CM-STATUS message sent. Event Type Code: 24; Chan ID: 159; DSID: N/A; MAC Addr: N/A; OFDM/OFDMA Profile ID: 2.;CM-MAC= ;CMTS-MAC=5c:83:8f:5e:83:1e;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.1;

2021-01-02, 23:49:08 Notice (6) CM-STATUS message sent. Event Type Code: 20; Chan ID: 159; DSID: N/A; MAC Addr: N/A; OFDM/OFDMA Profile ID: N/A.;CM-MAC= ;CMTS-MAC=5c:83:8f:5e:83:1e;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.1;
Once this happens, my download speeds are limited to 500 mbit. It feels like it's only using either the QAM256 channels or the OFDM but not both combined hence why the speeds are cut in half.
I've ran a brand new drop directly from demarc to the modem, based on what I can tell I think my levels are good (see attachment)?
I've been dreading any sort of call or chat with support, they will instantly jump to how this is my own modem, its the modem, etc...
I previously had gig speeds without an issue for over a year. Pretty sure something is going on at the CMTS (or something beyond the demarc).
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated!
