[IA] 1Gig service causing nothing but frustrations

I signed up for Mediacom the 12th of March 2019, new coax line to my house (temp line above ground) and the only coax going into my house is a new run strait to my modem. Probably less than 30ft from the outside box. I have an Arris SB8200 with a Unifi USG router behind it. Since being connected, my WAN up-time is usually never more than 2-3 hours. I had a tech come out this week to double check the lines and after adding 2 splitters he mentioned the modem signal levels didn't match what his meter was showing and that I should replace my modem. As it was only a week old at that point I had a replacement sent to me. Now that replacement modem is in place and from what I can tell, the exact same signals are showing up. It seems performance is all over the place, sometimes showing excellent performance and other times being completely unusable. I need to get this figured out, I got my whole family mad at me for choosing Mediacom at this point.
